Digital photos

In order for us to design your room we need to see what it looks like! You’ll be sending us photos via email, and the more the better. If you don’t have a digital camera, don’t worry. You can send us prints in the mail as well.

Try to take your photos during the day. Open your blinds or drapery and let the light in. We want to see your windows, but we also want to see how light enters your room.

If there is any furniture you already have that you want us to include in your design, photograph it (and don’t forget to tell us the dimensions). Also send photos of rooms or items in your home that you love, things that reflect your style, or something you saw at a store or a friend’s house that caught your attention. Make sure all your photos are clearly labeled so we know what we’re looking at. Finally, take a photograph of the outside of your home so we can see the architectural style and period it was built in.

Once you have placed your Design. Delivered. order you’ll receive instructions on how to submit all your photos.

What to shoot

First, take some overall shots of the room, then shoot each wall straight on.

Next, photograph all the details such as doors, windows, built-ins and any other architectural or structural elements in the room. If you have interesting architectural detail, such as crown moulding or wainscotting, shoot some close-ups of that too. You can even take shots of the floor and the ceiling to show us what they look like. The more pictures you take the better.
